We’ve joined up mobile.

Weve just launched the most significant mobile joint venture in the UK.

Weve has been formed to solve a critical problem for every business wanting to get involved in mobile commerce. Today, any organisation trying to engage with an increasingly mobile customer base is forced to engage with a bewildering mix of operators, services, platforms, channels and technologies – thus duplicating effort, increasing costs and making it impossible to get accurate and consistent insight into customer behaviour.

Weve is the exciting joint venture, that brings together the UK’s three largest mobile network operators (MNOs) – EE, Telefonica UK (O2) and Vodafone UK.

Weve is a new focal point for a whole new set of experiences and ideas across the mobile spectrum, everywhere from mobile marketing and advertising to payments and transactions, loyalty programs and coupons.

Weve offers a single point of contact, a single point of focus. The coming together of all things mobile and mobile commerce.

The name and brand reflects this. The duality of the name means that Weve can talk about the partners, and the benefit they offer together. “Weve come together to make mobile communications easier…” as well as the inference of “weaving together” what were complex mobile offers.

The identity is simply formed by things coming together.

Designed to change, frequently, regularly and relevantly.

You’ll see Weve made of mobile phones, people, marbles, digital data, light bulbs, footprints, ball bearings, cogs, clients logos, branded products, faces…

We’re particularly proud to have been chosen to develop the strategy, name and identity for such a brand, with such formidable parents, and their agencies – without pitch.

SomeOne co-founder Gary Holt who led the strategy, naming and creative also noted that “it’s been a pleasure to work with all of the MNO brands, and their expert marketing teams, and now to be working with such a talented Weve team. It’s rare that you get to use your sector knowledge outside of the brands that you are contracted too – Telefónica and O2 in our case, so this has been especially interesting.
