The Top 10 UK Design practice.

Do we have to wear suits and ties now?

Yep… We’re as surprised as you are — here’s what The Drum says…

“The results of The Drum Design Census, the UK’s most comprehensive overview of the commercial design landscape to date, has been released for the third year.

The report has been compiled to highlight the performance of agencies across a range of design and brand implementation services. This provides valuable insight for stakeholders in search of deeper understanding of the industry.

Presented within the census is a detailed analysis of the commercial design agency landscape, which includes rankings of agencies across three key dimensions: financial performance, client satisfaction and peer recognition.

In addition, the report has outlined the success of agencies that performed average best across these measures, earning them ‘elite’ status.”

That is the bit we are really rather pleased with — We’ve not only been rated as one of the top 100 — we’ve done so well, we’re listed in the ‘Elite’ section!

The Drum continues to say…

Agencies were ranked against those of a similar size, with the 147 agencies that took part having been divided into groups of 10 or less members of staff, 10—19 and 20—39 (that’s the size of the crew at SomeOne) or 40+ people, ensuring a fair and valuable comparison with their competition.

The full results can be found in the latest edition of The Drum magazine, available to purchase within The Drum store, while further details have been released on the Drum Census website.

The Elite Tables (which we are in — Whooop!), as well as the Financial Tables, are both available to view online also.

Amazing — when we started this company 10 years ago — we just wanted to do the best work, charge a fair fee — and have more fun than should be legal. We’ve been doing that for a decade and it appears to be working!

Huge thanks to all involved, clients, SomeOne’s and the industry in general — it’s an amazing time to be part of the creative industries.
