Brand Agency of the Year 2025.

Crikey. This was a surprise.

We got an email asking if we’d like to enter the prestigious Agency of the Year award from industry legend title ‘Campaign’.

We’ve long known about these awards, but saw the same massive networks sweeping them up year after year, so assumed it wasn’t our bag. However we were told that we stood a great chance of making a stir by entering our work, in our way…

So we had a pop…

And what a pop it was, the last 12 months has been a blinder at SomeOne. We’ve been behind a new brand launch every month of the year, completed the biggest and most strategically ambitious brand work we’ve ever done, and blended high level craftsmanship with punchy commercial bombast — to great effect.

Now this award recognises the best agencies specialising in creating, launching and repositioning brands. The judges carefully consider how an agency has planned, executed and evaluated branding projects for its clients.

And the judges are titans in their field… Anna Braithwaite, marketing director, Clothing and Home, Marks & Spencer; Matt Bushby, chief marketing officer, Rightmove; Alex Taborda, UK and Ireland head of media, consumer products division, L’Oréal; and Nicola Wardell, managing director, Specsavers.

Campaign Agency of the Year 2025 — Judges

So we popped together a summary of what we’ve been up to — and wallop — we won top prize!

Respectful shout-outs to both Interbrand & Landor who got silver and bronze, and to all the other agencies that had a go.

The judges had some lovely words to say about us… brace yourselves…

This 30-strong team in London has clocked 63 clients, 125 individual projects and 26 pitches in the past year, and that work has been nothing short of transformative.

As for workplace culture, probably most notable is SomeOne’s annual conference in Ibiza, whereupon the entire company leaves for the White Isle every summer to catch up on the latest news, ideas and approaches to branding.

The judges did not mince their words, describing SomeOne as: “Truly exceptional at every level. Outstanding clients, incredible work and an enviable culture. They are the epitome of a creative brand agency.”
