Right. CreativePool. It’s an awards thing, yes, but it’s also this massive, sprawling beast of a platform where 370,000 creative souls gather daily to gawp, argue, and generally obsess over each other’s work. Plus 27,000 companies hanging about, all posting their latest bits and bobs for the world to dissect.
And guess what? We’ve only gone and won Design Agency of the Year at their 2025 awards show, haven’t we?
They’re terrifically proud of being the “Most” everything – most distributed, most voted, most shared, most collaborative, most environmentally responsible. Over 2000 entries this year, which is wild that we even got a look-in when you think about it.
Eleven years they’ve been at this game now. Started as a book – remember those? – celebrating commercial creativity, and now it’s become this heavyweight in the awards shows. The whole shebang covers everything: campaigns, brands, agencies, the works. They’ve got creative directors rubbing shoulders with brand managers in the judging, plus this People’s Choice thing that gets everyone democratically involved. Rather refreshingly, they actually tell you what the judges thought of your work. Revolutionary stuff.
Our lot did rather well, actually. HaysMac and Portsmouth Historic Dockyard picked up best brand and best graphics – the Dockyard also bagged gold for copywriting, which is lovely. Co-op landed best branding and best typographic design. In total we walked away with 7 awards.
We are chuffed for the teams behind all this beautiful work, and the clients brave enough to commission it. Because let’s face it, great work doesn’t happen in a vacuum – it happens when brilliant clients meet brilliant creatives and magic occurs.
Not bad for a Tuesday, really.
