Putting the zoom into blooms.

At SomeOne we are forever excited about the prospect of working with organisations big and small who are at a point of change.

When Paul Furness was introduced to us, he had just set about planning a new business. After many years honing his craft it was time to go solo and create his own take on floristry.

Working as a florist in London is an exciting and sometimes unpredictable occupation. Every week brings new opportunities and new challenges as the flowers change with the seasons.

Pauls had wheels, a brand spanking new set of wheels to be more precise. And he wanted to integrate that into the branding. So when we came up with the new brand name ‘Petal to the Metal’ things started to come together!

The floristry sector is full of nice serifed, polite brands — but Paul wanted to stand out. So we took inspiration from a letterform more commonly found in fairgrounds, but given a kick into a more modern world through the application of neon colourways.

I have worked with some amazing clients & brands. We’ve been involved in incredible venues, hotels and collaborations with some great creatives. Petal to the Metal is a product of these experiences. The concept is a simple one. Strong design, great quality with excellent service.
