HIRING: Strong Brand Designer.

We’re delighted to be offering a new position at SomeOne for a designer to work on one of our newest and most challenging brand projects.

The successful applicant will be taking on a pivotal role in the design and application of a significant nationwide household name. This is a new win for us, and you’ll be starting at the beginning with us, so a real chance to make your mark.

If you have a proven track record of more than 2 years at a design agency. If you love branding and being inventive with a brands visual and verbal assets. If you want to work on the cutting edge of brand thinking. Read on… we’d love to meet you.

The Job…

  • You’ll be a good editor of your own ideas, and also a great listener to others’ experience and direction. Ideally annoyingly good.
  • You’ll primarily work as part of a design team, working with senior creatives on client projects. You will be asked to lead projects of your own.
  • You’ll take responsibility for what you deliver – whether that’s one visual or a complete design route – and present it with a clear creative rationale and ownership.
  • You’ll be generating great stuff from scratch, but also looking at others work, and where required, making it even better.
  • You’ll contribute to the creative richness of the design community and the culture of SomeOne. It’s meant to be a fun business.

Ideally — you’ll have these…

  • You’ll most probably have a graphic design background.
  • Minimum: Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design.
  • You’ll have at least 2 years experience in a creative environment. Ideally a design agency.
  • Strong graphic design skills essential. That will be your primary task!

The Computer Stuff:

You should be highly proficient in:

  • Adobe Creative Suite: Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign
  • Motion/3d an advantage, but not a given: After Effects, Cinema 4D, Premiere Pro, Final Cut
