How do you connect a series of private events connect with the wider world?
We’ve just worked with the crack PR team over at John Doe to help launch Rita Ora’s new range of apparel for super brand Adidas Originals. Working with the core team at John Doe we worked on a variety of strategies to help bring the launch to life on digital platforms. The outcome was to create a Gif Booth at two of the launch events attended by over 500 people. Including Rita herself.
The Gif Booth installation enabled people at the event to jump in and have their moment at the launch captured as one of the internets oldest surviving and best-loved file format. The Gif. 10 seconds in the booth were captured via our Gif Photographer Dylan Thomas — The resulting hyper-portable files were then immediately sent to the guest for them to distribute as they wished. Lucy Aebischer, lead project manager at SomeOne commented, ‘Creating an event within an event was an exciting challenge, particularly for such hot properties such as Adidas & Rita Ora!
We were delighted with the reaction of the hundreds of guests that took part. The events were a huge success securing pages of coverage in the national press as well as significant social media coverage and traffic.
